The participant register is optionally used by studies to store the identifibale details of study participants e.g. name, address etc. It is also possible to add custom fields to the register that are specific to the study. This is particularly useful if non-standard parameters are required by the study randomizer for stratification (see the section called “Randomization”).
The Manage Participant Register dialog allows custom fields to be added to the register. Each custom field is defined by it's name and a set of values which the field may take.
